Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs. You will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and provide excellent customer service to our residents. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus that cater to the dietary needs of residents.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with meals.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager.
- Participate in training sessions related to dietetics, culinary skills, and food safety practices.

- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to maintain a clean work area while adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Exceptional customer service skills to engage positively with residents and staff.
- Understanding of dietetics principles as they relate to meal planning for various dietary needs.
- Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
