Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service and a strong understanding of the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests while efficiently managing their orders and ensuring their satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system, preferably Aloha POS.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests while maintaining high standards of service.
- Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Buss tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for all patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server in the food industry is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Strong guest relations skills with an ability to create positive interactions with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform bussing duties as needed.
