Title: MRI Technologist
Location: West Chester, PA
Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Thursday 11:30am-8:00pm, Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols.
- Completes and signs Patient Screening form and explains the procedure to the patient.
- Maintains technical competency through continued education.
- Administers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.
- Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures.
- Maintains current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed.
- Provide images to the facility in the desired site format.
- Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.
- May assist with the setup and tear down of equipment in accordance with SMS and/or manufacturers’ guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Radiographer certification (ARRT) required
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Principles and practices of diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- Basic chemistry, film apparatus, and film processing techniques.
- Lift and position patients for the type of MRI procedure required.
- Ability to notice detail in drawings and differences in shapes and shadings.
- Keep and maintain records.
