Salary is $55,000-$78,000 annually based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and School Management: Directly reports to the Lower School Principal, assisting with the administrative functions of the school, including the implementation of school policies and procedures.
- Curriculum and Instructional Leadership: Guide the instructional programs by providing leadership and support to teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies, implementation of curriculum, and improving instructional practices.
- Professional Development and Teacher Support: Conduct ongoing classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers. Develop individualized professional growth plans and improvement strategies based on observations and data analysis.
- Data-Informed Instruction: Use data from classroom observations to provide insights and guidance to instructional coaches, directors of curriculum and instruction, and the school principal, enhancing the overall instructional quality.
- Recruitment and Retention: Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of highly qualified teacher talent for the Lower School. Focus on building a team that reflects the school's commitment to academic excellence and Christ-centered education.
- Behavior Support and Intervention: Work with behavior support team of Lower School Deans and Principal to establish and maintain consistent, positive behavior management systems, providing guidance and intervention strategies to support teachers, students, and families and shepherd our students toward Christ.
- Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community to foster a supportive and inclusive school culture.
- Other Administrative Tasks, Projects, and Oversight: Assist the Lower School Principal with other tasks, including summer session and other initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education or related field preferred.
- Principal certification/license preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in an elementary school setting.
- Strong understanding of effective instructional practices, classical education pedagogy, classroom management techniques, and student engagement strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
- Supportive of the school's mission to foster hope in God within the inner-city neighborhood of Minneapolis by providing youth with an outstanding, Christ-centered education.
- Ability to effectively educate in a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, and economically under-resourced urban community.
- Desire to equip the children of the city with an academically rigorous, comprehensive, classical Christian education to prepare them to deal with the complex issues of living in this present society.
