Hope and Healing Counseling Center LLC is a company in Abingdon, VA 24210. Our goal is to provide quality mental health services to those in our community in need and therefore we hire only quality mental health professionals.
We need more counselors to provide services to the daily calls we get from those in our community reaching out for help.
This position requires someone who is self-motivated, driven, punctual, well organized, and good at time management. Core Responsibilities of this position are to provide quality counseling services while strictly adhering to the Ethical Codes and Standards of the profession. The incumbent of this position will be expected to maintain all training and requirements to maintain professional licensure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for clients of all ages.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client needs.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions in an individual setting.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and research initiatives to enhance clinical skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hold current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the State of Virginia and be in good standing with the Board
- Experience or training in pediatrics, geriatrics, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing
- Must adhere to Ethical Codes and Standards of the profession
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Strong research skills to contribute to evidence-based practices within the organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to client care.
- Must be a person of integrity who values trust, honor/respect, authenticity, commitment, connection and support and have a heart for those in need
