Overview
Hope Church CEC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role is crucial in fostering the development of preschool and toddler-aged children, ensuring they receive the attention and guidance they need to thrive. We offer a Christian work environment. We have multiple positions available. Required: Must pass DHR background check (our cost).
Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Provide support during daily routines, including snack time, playtime, and transitions.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Engage with children to promote social skills, emotional development, and positive behavior management.
- Supervise children during outdoor play and field trips, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Experience
- Prior experience in preschool, daycare, or childcare settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices.
- Skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques are a plus.
- Experience with lesson planning or supporting educational activities is beneficial.
- A passion for working with children and contributing to their growth and development is essential.
