Anticipated Time Commitments
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: Initially 18-24 hours a week
2. Participating in meetings/training: up to five hours a month
Compensation to reflect market rates and experience
Responsibilities/Duties
1. Participate in staff planning meetings.
2. Compose or transcribe correspondence for pastoral staff.
3. Use desktop-publishing software to prepare:
a. Church emails and communication.
b. Special flyers as needed.
c. Bulletins.
d. Slides for announcements.
4. Maintain church database and contribution records.
5. Make phone calls directed by pastoral staff.
6. Special projects as directed by pastoral staff.
7. Maintain a master calendar of events.
8. Keep lists of hospitalized church members, special prayer requests, deaths, births, and other important events. Mail cards from the church as appropriate.
9. File correspondence, reports, church newspaper ads, etc.
10. Organize and create weekly email newsletters.
11. Complete any other duties as assigned by the pastor.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.91 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
