We are currently seeking a Case Manager for our Justice Services Program, specifically to work with clients in the Mental Health Court. About the Position
As a Case Manager in our Justice Services Program, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients by providing advocacy, referral, linkage, individual and group rehabilitation, and independent living skills training. Your work will focus on assisting adults within the Mental Health Court, helping them to maintain their community tenure and progress through the program. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of those in need, working closely with court personnel and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide case management services, including advocacy, referral, linkage, and independent living skills training.
- Support a recovery-focused, welcoming environment for individuals with behavioral health and/or co-occurring disorders, especially those with a history of trauma.
- Participate as a member of a court treatment team, offering treatment-oriented perspectives and recommendations.
- Act as a liaison to the courts, providing input on treatment, recommendations, and sanctions as appropriate.
- Coordinate client needs with available resources, managing referrals, and providing advocacy as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including court reporting and communication of sanctions.
- Assist clients in developing and implementing individualized recovery plans.
- Ensure strict confidentiality in all interactions and maintain compliance with agency policies, CARF, DMHSAS standards, and other relevant regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related mental health field.
- Must obtain and maintain DMHSAS CM II Certification and Therapeutic Options or approved safety training.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, meeting HOPE insurance requirements.
