What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Clerk position at Hope Fellowship Ministries?
OVERVIEW
Hope Fellowship is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented finance clerk to aid in the many tasks and responsibilities of the church’s finance office. This is a part-time position that is between 20-25 hours per week. Office hours may vary, but ideal working hours will be 9am - 1pm, M-F.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete weekly deposits of contributions and other miscellaneous income.
- Record and post all income deposits in the church’s accounting system.
- Maintains donors’ accounts for tax purposes. Helps with communication with our donors on an ongoing basis.
- Receive, process, and pay all bills and invoices for the organization.
- Provide backup to our office receptionist at the Central office. This will include greeting visitors, answering calls, and offering assistance to staff when needed.
- Build and support ongoing processes that support the financial operations of our ministries.
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks and duties as assigned.
