What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groups Coordinator position at Hope Fellowship Ministries?
The Groups Coordinator at the Frisco East Campus supports the Groups Director/Pastor in leading and implementing the vision for spiritual growth, discipleship, and development at Hope Fellowship. This role works closely with the Campus Groups Director/Pastor and the Grow Department to fulfill the churchs mission: inviting everyone to follow Jesus and helping them move to the center of Gods purpose for their lives. The Groups Coordinator achieves this by managing and supporting group leaders, fostering spiritual growth and discipleship through various community groups. A person would fit well in this role with high energy, excellent people skills, and enthusiasm about Hope Fellowships vision.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Ability to build relationships in order to assess, advise, and direct a persons appropriate next steps in moving towards the center of Gods purpose for their life
- Ability to assist the Campus Groups Director/Pastor in recruiting, leading, and equipping leaders to lead successful groups at Hope Fellowship

- Coach/Leader training events
- Create Connections teams (greeters, check-in, etc.) for on-site events
- Manage system process for the launch of new Groups
- Manage system process for the onboarding of new Leaders/Coaches
- Ensure that all materials and promotional items are ordered, received, and available for semester launch

Schedule:
- Office Time: Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Onsite Groups Times:
- Tuesday mornings - 9am-12pm - Bible Study and Class Groups
- Tuesday nights - 5:30-8:30pm - Bible Study and Class Groups
- Groups events (times as needed)

Service Times:
- Saturday - 1 weekend a month
- Sunday - All Services
- Minimum of 1 hour before service time until all closing responsibilities are completed after last service
- Other Times
- Church-wide Events (times as needed)
- Campus Events (times as needed)
- The Groups Coordinators schedule should complement the Campus Groups Director/Pastors schedule with regards to vacation times and should have little to no overlap.
