Hope For Youth's Residential Services Department offers a unique opportunity to work with adolescents and young adults in Nassau and Suffolk County. As a Residential Caseworker, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing community-based, trauma-informed care. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a social or related field and experience working with at-risk youth.
Job Responsibilities
- Complete psychosocial assessments and comprehensive diagnostic evaluations
- Gather documentation and create youth and family-driven service plans
- Conduct home visits, parent and youth interviews, and supervising family visits
- Prepare incident reports and notifications as needed
The successful candidate will possess excellent writing skills, time management abilities, and flexibility with scheduling. A valid NYS Driver's License is required, as well as the ability to safely operate a 7-passenger agency vehicle. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
