The Director of Day Habilitation Services is responsible for the overall management of Minnesota services employees and the general operations of all day Minnesota Services.

The Director of Day Habilitation Services is responsible for the overall management of Minnesota services employees and the general operations of all day Minnesota Services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote the philosophy of Hope Haven locally, statewide and nationally. Improve the quality of service, outcomes for consumers and the agency expansion of programs and services.
- Ensure collaboration within the Minnesota service departments, other agency departments, and leadership.
- Ensure that Hope Haven is a leader in innovative and effective services, locally, regionally and nationally.
- Ensure programs meet all applicable federal/state and accreditation requirements.
- Provide leadership and supervision to all Minnesota services to ensure services are client driven promoting the attainment of dreams, desires and aspirations.
- Provide administrative support which promotes positive service outcomes, age-appropriate activities, client choice, and integrated community employment and involvement.
- Responsible for the implementation of the agency measurement and management report (AMMP) and Strategic Direction Plan for Minnesota services.
- Ensure that all service locations are maintained at a high level of safety, sanitation, and housekeeping.
- Follows all safety procedures and promotes safety measures among team and persons served.
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Rehabilitation Counseling or Human Services)
- Three years of supervisory experience
- Three years in the human services field
- Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills
- Excellent oral and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and access to private vehicle
- Provide proof of state minimum liability insurance coverage.
- Ability to pass a health assessment at time of hire and ability to maintain up to date health assessment as requested per regulations.
- Clearance from a criminal background check and abuse reporting check at time of hire.
