JOB SUMMARY
The High School Registrar supports the school's operations with a primary focus on student enrollment, preparation of transcripts, and maintenance of student files.
MINIMAL ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with children
- Experience with Arizona School registration is a HUGE plus!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced, achievement-oriented learning environment
- Strong data entry experience
- Ability to handle a heavy workload efficiently, accurately, and with minimal supervision
- Experience working with confidential records, preferably in an education environment
- Shall have the ability to work and communicate effectively with the Community, Board, students, and staff members
OVERALL ESSENTIAL ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives and screens telephone calls, visitors, and correspondence
- Organizes and manages the registration of new and returning students
- Manages records of current students and reports to the AZ Department of Education
- 1. Income eligibility
- 2. Immunizations
- 3. Records Request
- Primary responsibility is student files/record auditing
- Manages student records software (Infinite Campus)
- Coordinates student enrollments and withdrawal processes
- Work with other support staff as part of the enrollment and registration process
- Fulfills records requests from other schools
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NEEDED
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years administrative experience
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proficiency in Google Workspace/GSuite/Google Docs
WORKDAY
- 8hr day (8:00am - 4:00pm) OR (8:30am - 4:30pm)
- 12-month - full calendar year
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to:
- Be able to work in front of a computer monitor several hours a day
- Speak and articulate over the phone and in person
- Lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
