We have been in business over 50 years and have an employee retention rate that vastly outpaces the industry. We believe that our employees can accomplish the mission with-out over management and are responsible for their own schedules.
We are looking for a Direct Care Worker to join our team and provide direct care services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation. The Direct Care Worker will also be responsible for providing emotional support and guidance to individuals in their care. We are looking for someone who is patient, understanding, has a passion for helping others and seeking long term employment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care services to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with activities of daily living and other related tasks.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with disabilities.
- Monitor changes in behavior or health status and report any changes to the supervisor.
- Maintain a safe environment for individuals with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
