While this is an entry-level position, we seek someone with a solid foundation in web design and UI/UX. Requirements
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent years of experience)
- Experience in web design, specifically in a Webflow environment
- Portfolio of past work/projects
- Professional understanding of site design, management, structure, flow, and operating procedures
- Understanding of Webflow site development (Jotform, Airtable, etc.)
- Skill in designing and revising web pages, plugins, forms, pop-ups, and page templates
- Ability to perform in both individual and collaborative environments
- Understanding of the latest web design trends, tools, technologies, and integrations
- Ability to utilize and/or incorporate AI into site functionality
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and usability
What Youll Do
- Design and maintain the organization's website(s)
- Collaborate with the marketing team, events team, and fundraising team to create web pages, landing pages, forms, registration workflow, etc.
- Ensure the website is optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
- Monitor and resolve website issues
- Lead with a mobile-first approach and mindset
- Support the development of features that enhance UX/UI
Points For
- A basic understanding of custom coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to enhance website functionality and user experience
- Experience in communications, marketing, design, and/or IT
- Experience in mobile-first web design
- Familiarity with nonprofit sector challenges and opportunities
- Proficiency in web design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Figma, Canva, etc.
- Knowledge of event platforms (EventBrite, Perfect Golf, Blackthorne, Classy, SalesForce, QuickBooks)
- Experience in iOS and Android app development
