We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pre-K Paraprofessional to support our early childhood program and help create a nurturing and engaging classroom experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
- Support students in their social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to reinforce learning concepts.
- Help with classroom management and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times, rest periods, and transitions.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom culture for all students.
- Communicate effectively with the lead teacher, staff, and families to support student success.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or CDA preferred).
- Substitute Certification
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for early childhood education.
- Ability to lift and assist young children as needed.
