Hope Lodge provides addiction and mental health treatment through Inpatient Detoxification and Residential Treatment. We prioritize respect and compassion, adhering to the highest ethical standards set by the California Department of Health Care Services and The Joint Commission.
Position Overview:
The Behavioral Health Technician supports patient care in detox and residential programs, performing indirect and direct tasks under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for detox and residential patients
- Collect urine drug screens (UDS) for admissions and random tests
- Conduct program orientations, safety checks, and patient rounds
- Facilitate group sessions as needed
- Perform housekeeping duties (cleaning, laundry, etc.)
- Transport patients to meetings and appointments (must have clean driving record if your shift requires driving)
Qualifications:
- Experience in behavioral health (substance use disorder, dual diagnosis, mental health)
- Preferred: RADT, RAC, or equivalent (required at hire)
- KIPU experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required
- Valid CA driver’s license with acceptable driving record to transport patients
- Reliable transportation to work (including during inclement weather)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
