Job Description:
The Occupational Therapist at Hope Network Behavioral Health provides clinical consultations and rehabilitation programming for individuals with autism, focusing on personalized treatment plans and community integration.
- Main Duties:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of treatment progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for each individual
- Provide supervision and training to support staff as needed
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential
- Train, schedule, and supervise assigned staff in carrying out individual treatment plans
- Services may include sensory processing evaluation, ADL evaluation, and designing and monitoring subsequent treatment
- Promote community integration
Position Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Licensed by the State of Michigan (OTR/L)
- 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with individuals with autism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
