As an Autism Services Clinician, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works collaboratively to create tailored care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of patients with communication disorders, developing personalized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language pathology services, including training in communication, cognition, and dysphagia activities.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of treatment, ensuring seamless care delivery and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Engage with families and carers to educate them on treatment plans and progress, promoting informed decision-making and collaborative care delivery.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program, with active licensure in Michigan.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Demonstrated ability to work with consumers having special physical, emotional, social, behavioral, and vocational needs due to neurological disability/TBI.
