This role requires a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program, active licensure in Michigan, and ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). You must also possess the ability to work effectively with consumers having special physical, emotional, social, behavioral, and vocational needs due to neurological disability/TBI.

This role requires a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team at Hopeworks Neuro Rehabilitation. As a specialist in autism and communication disorders, you will provide diagnostic and treatment services to individuals with a range of abilities and needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing personalized treatment plans and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech language pathology diagnostic and treatment services using selected standardized and informal assessment procedures to determine the nature, severity, and prognosis for rehabilitation of individuals with communication disorders
- Ensure individual assessment and participation with goal identification, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment plans in individual and group settings
- Complete timely documentation of daily treatment notes, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, home programs, and consultation notes as indicated
- Maintain accurate records of treatment through data collection and treatment reports as assigned
