PT Recovery Support Specialist -TUESDAY 3P-11P and SATURDAY 11:00PM-7:00AM
$23.00/hr ( shift differential included)
Position Description & Related Responsibilities
Hope on Haven Hill (HHH) Mission: HHH's mission is to support recovery and nurture the health and wellbeing of pregnant and parenting women with substance use disorder and their children by ensuring access to quality treatment and services.
Reports To: Recovery Leads, House Manager, and/or Clinical Director
The Recovery Support Specialist is responsible for: monitoring and providing for client safety and support, delivering redirection as necessary, in a high-intensity residential substance use disorder treatment program.
Major Responsibilities: (Training provided)
- Responsible for providing emotional support to clients in a manner that empowers client choice by emphasizing strengths.
- Responsible for utilizing trauma-informed interventions and support.
- Responsible for the facilitation of evidence-based psycho-educational groups as approved by the Operations Director and the Clinical Director.
- Responsible for supervision of self-administration of client medications, reviewing documentation of such and ensuring clients are taking medications as prescribed.
- Responsible for monitoring, documenting and reporting all client behaviors, particularly behavior changes, in an accurate and timely manner to supervisor.
- Responsible for monitoring, documenting and reporting client nutritional intake.
- Responsible for immediately contacting on-call supervisory staff as needed.
- Responsible for monitoring the milieu and client bed rooms for safety and cleanliness.
- Conduct routine room checks for safety and cleanliness.
- Assist other shifts with meal prep, cleaning, data entry, etc.
- Responsible for attending all staff meetings and weekly clinical supervision groups.
- Responsible for observation, collection, documentation and proper chain of custody for federal probation and parole urinalysis.
- Any other duties as assigned by House Manager, Operations Director and/or Executive Director.
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Desire and ability to work with adults with substance use and other mental health disorders.
- We will support your becoming CRSW (Certified Recovery Support Worker) certified within 12 months of employment start date.
- Experienced in using computers: Word, Excel, Access, etc.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to provide input on the creation of new systems and efficiencies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care to all assigned clients.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding protected health information and adhere to agency boundaries practices. Must adhere to federal requirements 42 C.F.R. Part 2 and HIPAA at all times.
- Must be high school graduate over 18 years; working towards college degree desirable.

Pay: $23.00 per hour*
*Base wage is $23.00/hr; Weekend Shift Differential is another $2.00/hr. 2nd shift differential another $2.25/hr
