A " Sales Recruiting Representative " primary responsible is developing construction clients for continuous placmenty of construction related temporary and direct hire personnel in contingent or direct hire positions with clients, meaning the candidates will be provided on a temporary assingnment or employed directly by the client rather than through a Hope Power & Industrial; this involves identifying high-quality candidates, managing relationships with hiring managers, and ensuring a smooth recruitment process that aligns with the company's specific needs and culture, often within a specialized industry or niche market.
- Sourcing and Candidate Identification:Actively source top talent through various channels like networking, job boards, professional associations, and referrals, with a focus on finding candidates who fit specific industry requirements.
- Client Relationship Management:Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, expectations, and company culture to present the most relevant candidates.
- Candidate Screening and Evaluation:Conduct thorough candidate interviews, assessments, and reference checks to identify qualified individuals who align with the client's needs.
- Presentation and Negotiation:Present shortlisted candidates to hiring managers, highlighting their key qualifications and strengths, and negotiate compensation packages.
- Recruitment Strategy Development:Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies based on market trends, industry knowledge, and client requirements.
- Team Leadership and Coaching:Lead and mentor a team of direct placement recruiters, providing coaching on sourcing techniques, interview skills, and candidate evaluation.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like placement rates, time-to-fill, and candidate satisfaction to measure recruitment effectiveness.
- Market Knowledge and Industry Expertise:Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive landscape within the specialized niche market.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in direct placement recruiting, preferably within a specific industry
- Strong networking abilities and the ability to build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present candidates and manage client expectations
- Strong analytical skills to assess candidate fit and identify potential talent
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related curriculum i.e. Business, engineering, Human Resources.
- Proven experience in sales, recruitment, or a related field, preferably within the mechanical or electrical trades industries.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical trades terminology, skills, and requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, candidates, and team members.
- Proficient in using (AVIONTE) recruitment software and other tools to manage candidate pipelines.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
