JOB: Automotive Detailer/ Driver
Reports to: Program Coordinator
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
As an Automotive Detailer:
The Automotive Detailer is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of vehicles at Hope Town properties. This role requires reliability and the ability to complete detailing tasks in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Good time management
- Follow pre-determined detailing guidelines and step by step process
- Perform comprehensive detailing services, including washing, waxing, and vacuuming vehicles to ensure they meet high cleanliness standards
- Properly manage detailing tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace for detailing operations
- Complete other duties as assigned
The Automotive Detailer plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of Hope Town's fleet and client vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are presented at their best.
As a Driver:
Driver will ensure that clients are transported timely and safely to the designated location. Drivers are expected to be reliable, courteous, well-mannered, and polite, as you are interacting with our clients. Some functions of driver’s include, but are not limited to, the list below:
- Responsible for transporting clients in a timely manner to and from destinations
- May be assigned limited nights and weekends to accomplish duties
- Arrive at a destination on schedule
- Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route
- Always interact with clients professionally
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled, clean and ready for use
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
- Obey all traffic laws
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred experience in transportation services and/or automotive detailing.
- Safe driving record and acceptable background check
- Excellent communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to physically/manually/safely operate a vehicle
- Familiar and competent with computers and other productivity technology
- The person in this position constantly requires communication with clients and staff regarding completion of tasks and other issues
- Able to occasionally move items up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to weather elements may be required to successfully complete tasks designated
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
