Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations, whether in a restaurant, catering event, or banquet setting.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces and equipment.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during service.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support catering events by assisting with setup and breakdown as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to assist in various tasks beyond dishwashing, including bussing and catering support.
