Locker Room Attendant & Shoe Shine Specialist
Position Overview:
The Locker Room Attendant & Shoe Shine Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and hospitality of the men's locker room while providing exceptional shoe care services. This role ensures that members and guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming experience through outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Locker Room Services:
- Greet and assist members and guests with locker assignments, towels, and personal belongings.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the locker room, showers, steam room, and restroom facilities.
- Stock and replenish toiletries, towels, and other amenities.
- Ensure all lockers are properly maintained, cleaned, and available for use.
- Provide assistance with special member requests related to locker room services.
Shoe Care & Shine Service:
- Provide high-quality shoe shining, polishing, and cleaning services.
- Perform minor shoe repairs, including lace replacements and conditioning.
- Maintain an organized shoe care station with all necessary supplies.
- Keep a detailed log of shoes left for service and ensure timely return.
General Duties:
- Monitor locker room supplies and communicate restocking needs.
- Assist with laundering and folding of towels and garments.
- Report maintenance issues to management for prompt resolution.
- Uphold club policies, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Food & Beverage Assistance:
- Assist members and guests with ordering food and beverages from the club menu.
- Communicate orders accurately to the food and beverage team for prompt service.
- Deliver drinks and menu items to the locker room area as needed.
- Ensure members' and guests' needs are met with a high level of service and attention.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or shoe care preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak club hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
