Responsibilities:
- Assist the veterinarian during examinations, treatments, and surgeries
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Prepare examination rooms, surgical instruments, and medical supplies
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Monitor animals before and after procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and update client information
- Educate pet owners on post-care treatments, vaccinations, and general pet wellness
- Clean and sanitize work areas to uphold a safe and hygienic environment
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required
- Strong passion for animal care and welfare
