WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in an outpatient clinic setting. The SLP will work with pediatric and/or adult populations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that improve patient outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observations.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results, patient/family goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Direct Therapy: Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to patient needs, using innovative and research-supported interventions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with clinic policies and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to care.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or eligibility for CFY, if applicable).
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Missouri.
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work is performed in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Requires ability to sit, stand, and engage in active therapy sessions for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of therapy materials and equipment may be required.
