Human Resources Associate - New Temporary Opening!
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Employment Specialist, the Human Resources Associate is responsible for screening, interviewing, testing, providing Job offers to candidates, and creating/maintaining employee files.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Screening, testing, interviewing and selection of Direct Support Personnel for Hope Residential Academy and Paraprofessionals for Hope Learning Academy; communicates effectively with Employment Specialist regarding candidate updates.
- Delivers verbal offers of employment.
- Creates employee personnel and term files.
- Completes general filing.
- All other duties/responsibilities as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Provides candidates with timely responses to questions.
- Performs all other duties as required or assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good human relation skills
- Ability to work with the public
- Detail oriented, ability to prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks
- Successful background clearance, and drug screening
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
- Ability to communicate and deliver information clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to navigate and utilize various software systems such as Microsoft Office.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work is performed primarily in an indoor office environment, free from extreme weather conditions.
- Work may include close physical interactions or proximity to others.
- Work may include a moderate amount of noise (business office with computers, phone and printers).
- Requires the ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 15 pounds of force at a time and may be subject to prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, standing and bending while filing, and working on a computer.
- The position requires the ability to use their hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls and will require the ability to see details of screens or objects that are more than a few feet away.
