SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Speech & Language Pathologist provides and oversees speech/language therapy treatments in a clinic environment to assist adult pediatric populations to attain, improve, or maintain their maximum level of functional movement.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assess individuals’ communication skills and implement speech and language treatment based on established goals, in individual or group settings.
- Serve, communicate, and consult as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain detailed records and compile written progress reports and treatment plans as needed.
- Evaluate need and type of augmentative communication devices and provide guidance and training to parents/guardians, teachers, and/or caretakers on the use of needed devices.
- Participate in ongoing treatment meetings, as well as staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Master’s degree from approved school of hearing and speech-language pathology.
- Tennessee license in audiology or speech-language pathology.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and software applications.
