- Infants (6 weeks to 15 months) - $133 weekly, $27 daily
- Toddlers (15 months to 2 yrs) - $126 weekly, $26 daily
- 2 years to 3 years - $119 weekly, $25 daily
- 4 years to 5 years - $112 weekly, $23 daily
About the job:
The Medical Receptionist works onsite in the Hopedale Physician's office. The Receptionist ensures personal contact professionally to all patients. The Receptionist answers all incoming phone calls to the office, our physician's office doesn't use an automated service to answer calls. Provides efficient and competent patient scheduling for all physicians practicing at this office utilizing the current computer system. Assist at any office as needed, including Saturday. The office hours for our Hopedale office are Monday-Friday, ranging from 8:00am-6:00pm. There is a weekend shift, every sixth Saturday, 7 am - 1 pm at the Hopedale Office. This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, assisting patients with scheduling needs or transferring to the appropriate department/person requested.
- Scan all records for patients (radiology reports, labs, consultations reports, office visit information, demographics).
- Greet patients; gather and update all necessary information upon arrival
- Update schedules in the Medical Manager Appointment Scheduler or scheduling book.
- Schedule appointments according to individual providers' schedules and the type of service requested.
- Make reminder phone calls for upcoming appointments.
- Refer patients in need of payment arrangements or financial assistance to the physician billing office.
- Collect necessary payment at time of service.
- Maintain schedules for consulting physicians, notifying their home office as per their individual preference.
- Complete lab requisitions and outpatient services requisitions, and direct patients to the outpatient admitting office.
- Perform other related work as requested or required.

Background and Drug screen Disclaimer:
Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
- Coding and medical terminology knowledge are strongly preferred.
- Multitasking in a busy setting is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Previous medical office experience is preferred.
- Must be willing to rotate to any office: Hopedale, Mackinaw, Manito, and Delavan.
- CPR certification is preferred
Salary : $23 - $27
