.6 FTE Special Ed Teacher/Team Chairperson
for the 2025-2026 School Year

•Collaborate with one or more general education teachers to design and deliver individualized instruction based on students’ IEPs
•Ensure students’ goals, accommodations, and services in the IEP are implemented effectively
•Co-teach or consult in general education classrooms to support inclusive practices
•Conduct or assist with formal and informal assessments to inform instruction
•Coordinate, schedule and facilitate preschool special education team meetings
•Monitor IEPs or IFSPs (Individualized Education or Family Service Plans) for compliance and effectiveness
•Coordinate transitions between early intervention, preschool, and kindergarten
•Lead the team in interpreting evaluation results and determining eligibility for special education services
•Act as a liaison between general ed, special ed, and related service providers
•Help develop or review school-wide practices related to inclusion, behavior intervention, and accessibility
•Work closely with community partners (family community network, early intervention providers, health agencies)
The successful candidate will hold an appropriate Massachusetts DESE License certification: Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities, PreK-8
Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the Hopedale Education Association-Unit A collective bargaining agreement.
