Childcare Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various age groups, including infants and toddlers. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for promoting social skills and ensuring the well-being of each child.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children while encouraging social interaction among peers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare space to ensure a healthy environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare or babysitting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- A compassionate demeanor with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Other details
-Parents will be present in adjact space and provide any diapering or toileting needs as well as comfort as needed
-A volunteer will be second adult present with children.
- Children flow back and forth to parents in the worship space and a large window integrates the space with the whole gathering.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 per week
