The career opportunity : Through training and service monitoring, the NEMT Service and Training Manager helps set the vision, direction, and culture of Hopelink's Transportation Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. Hopelink's NEMT team is responsible for screening Medicaid recipients for the most cost-efficient form of transportation that fits their medical needs. Hopelink assigns these trip requests to a fleet of contracted transportation providers. This role will maintain oversight of training internal team members and handling of feedback on our service. The NEMT Service and Training Manager is a critical role; they encourage independent problem solving and a sense of ownership from others for the success of the team. They inspire staff to achieve team goals and improve the lives of the transportation disadvantaged population. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, detail-oriented, and is adept at receiving and applying feedback from a variety of stakeholders.

- Previous project management experience preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to lead a diverse workforce, work in a group as a leader, and ensure employee accountability across the department.
- Ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts, build positive relationships, and lead by example; outstanding communication skills with audiences of all levels.
- Experienced in training, process improvement, and data analytics; proven prioritization, delegation, and negotiation skills.
- Client experience oriented with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of transportation services available for low-income populations preferred.
- Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, contractual requirements and Washington Administrative Codes (WAC) preferred.
- This position is a Service Critical Employee with specific attendance requirements.
