We are currently trying to fill the need for on-site training with the California Correctional Facilities. This means our instructor will travel to provide training at different locations all across California. Paid!

As a BLS, CPR and First Aid Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in life-saving techniques with others. This role requires strong communication skills, both in public speaking and interpersonal interactions. You will play a crucial role in equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations. Join our team of dedicated instructors and make a difference in the community by promoting safety and well-being through ECC (Emergency Cardiovascular Care) education.
Requirements:
- AHA BLS Instructor Card preferred, . Training can be provided contingent on employment for 1 years.
- Comfortable with travelling weekly, away from home overnight, Monday - Friday (ACCOMODATIONS PROVIDED!)
- Ability to work through communication in diverse groups, including language/cultural barriers.
- Strong public speaking and communication skills. Ability to effectively convey information in a classroom setting.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Excellent organizational skills to manage training materials and schedules
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines, skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations, and attention to details.
- Able to provide quality leadership to a team.
*Preferred/Not Required: Certification in BLS, CNA, EMT, or other related Healthcare Field*
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Classes: Routine location hosted classes, On-demand onsite classes, assist in classes for individuals to large groups. You will be travelling regularly Monday - Friday with VEHICLE and ACCOMODATIONS provided
- Driving from Hopewell CPR Training to locations all across California
- Teach participants essential skills such as CPR, AED usage, and Basic Life Support techniques (For childcare providers, Healthcare Providers, and workplace/community training)
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and practice sessions to ensure participants understand and can apply the skills learned
- Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, including attendance and participant progress, course evaluations, and exams while maintaining exam security.
- Keep track of company and industry updates and disperse knowledge
- Managing supplies and inventory
- Quality Control
- Identify gaps/needs and create solutions
- Tech, A/V equipment upkeep and maintenance
- Other various instructor needs
