What are the responsibilities and job description for the First Episode of Psychosis (FEP) CPST Provider position at Hopewell Health Centers, Inc.?
Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a CPST Service Provider to join our First Episode of Psychosis team located in Athens, OH.
As a CPST Provider, you will work as part of the First Episode of Psychosis Treatment team providing Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) Services to severely and persistently mentally ill clients. interventions including but not limited to: assessment of needs, skills building/empowerment, crisis management and intervention, advocacy, education/training, eliminating barriers, coordinating/linkages, and monitoring. Must be able to work with adults as well as children in surrounding communities.
What do we look for in our CPST Providers??
- HS Diploma/GED
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred
- At least one year recent experience in case management, AOD, and adult and child mental health field is preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to be sensitive to the cultural needs of the clients and their families.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and vehicle suitable for transportation. (Must have a minimum of 3 years driving experience and be at least 21 years of age)
- Must be personable, reliable, and organized.
