Occupational Therapist (OT)
The Occupational Therapist (OT) promotes and maintains the functional status, physical mobility and well-being for participants, both in the Center and at home. The Occupational Therapist conducts assessment, treatment, teaching and counseling. This role will train restorative aides, center aides, and home care aides to support restorative care plans.

PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 163 PACE programs, serving more than 72,000 participants in 32 states.
The number of people aged 55 is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.
What You Bring:
- Currently registered as an occupational therapist by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and licensed in the State of Colorado and maintained throughout employment.
- 1-3 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with elderly, frail individuals.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license, unlimited access to reliable transportation, and adequate automobile insurance is maintained throughout employment.
- Adequate computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
- Current CPR certification is maintained throughout employment.
- Effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing in a multitude of situations and settings.
- Effectively work with and build relationships with others.
