Prep Cook/Host Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine kitchen tasks and assigned tasks.
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.
- Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
- Prepare simple dishes, such as salads.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
- Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
- Greet residents in a professional, courteous manner
- Assist with pouring/providing beverages and other service and bussing functions as necessary
- Monitor dining room services and food availability on an ongoing basis to ensure prompt and courteous dining service
