Program Design & Implementation:
Assist with the creation, coordination, and execution of diverse enrichment programs for both youth and adults, contributing to the success of year-round offerings. - Staff Recruitment & Management:
Help recruit, interview, and hire Enrichment instructors, staff leaders, assistants, and volunteers to ensure quality programming and staffing. - Catalog Management:
Support the writing, editing, printing, and distribution of the youth Community Education catalogs, collaborating with the Marketing Specialist to ensure timely production and accurate content. - Web & Online Presence:
Oversee the development and upkeep of the Youth Enrichment web pages, ensuring they are current, user-friendly, and visually appealing. - Registration & Payroll Support:
Assist with registration processes for all Enrichment programs, manage payroll tasks for instructors, and ensure smooth operations for internal and external customers. - Data Analysis & Program Improvement:
Review and analyze participant evaluation data and registration forms to suggest improvements to program offerings and identify emerging trends. - Marketing & Communications:
Promote and publicize enrichment classes through various mediums, including the website, catalogs, flyers, e-newsletters, and social media, and contribute to the creation of marketing materials. - Community Needs Assessment:
Assess community needs for youth programming and propose new offerings that align with the mission and vision of the district. - Program Scheduling & Support:
Manage scheduling for Enrichment classes, assign appropriate meeting spaces, and collaborate with instructors to ensure the highest quality of programming for the Hopkins Community. - Camp Royal Support:
Assist with Camp Royal operations, including family and student communications, vendor coordination, and providing ongoing support for staff and participants. - Collaboration & Partnership Building:
Work closely with Kids & Company Lead Supervisors to integrate Enrichment opportunities into each building and enhance collaboration across the community. - Customer Service & Teamwork:
Maintain a cooperative and professional demeanor while interacting with the public and staff, contributing to a harmonious and productive work environment. - Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Child Development, or a related field.
- At least one (1) year of experience coordinating or supporting youth programs.
- OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.

The Enrichment Specialist plays a vital role in supporting year-round youth programs within the Community Education department. This includes responsibilities in catalog production, accounts payable and invoicing, web design and maintenance, class registration, data analysis, market research, and marketing/communications efforts.
