Job description
- 7am-7pm - Full-time or Part-time, 12-hour shifts

Essential Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio or Registered Nurse in State of Ohio
- Provides general nursing care to residents in a nursing facility.
- Explains procedures and treatments to residents to gain cooperation, understanding, and to prevent apprehension.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Prepares equipment and aids Physician during treatment and examination of residents while maintaining awareness of safety and comfort.
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of resident.
- Supervise the nursing practices in the facility directed toward restoring and maintaining the residents capabilities at maximum mental and physical level.
- Observes residents, records significant conditions and reactions and notifies Physician or Supervisor of resident’s condition and reaction to medications, treatments and significant incidents after assessing the condition of the patient.
- Documents nursing history and physical assessment for assigned residents
- Use of Point, Click, Care for electronic documentation.
- High level of organization, communication, and clinical skills needed to perform the job successfully in addition to demonstrating the required core competencies.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supervises STNA's and unlicensed caregivers.
