Hopkins Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a part time transportation driver to safely transport our residents to medical appointments, outings and any other necessary trips.
Job Responsiblities:
- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings and other approved destinations.
- Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring residents safety at all times.
- Perform routine checks on the vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate transportation logs and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver, preferrably in a healthcare or senior care setting.
- Ability to assist residents with mobility needs, including operating a wheelchair lift if applicable.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
