TITLE : Cafeteria – General WorkerTYPE OF POSITION : Part-time (5.75 hours / day, 28.75 hours / week); anticipated immediate start; salary per collective bargaining agreement (range $16.29-$19.11 / hour), commensurate with experienceLOCATION : Marathon School, Hopkinton, MassachusettsAREA OF CONSIDERATION : All qualified candidatesThe Cafeteria General Worker assists in the preparation, presentation, and clean-up of school meals.DUTIES : Duties include, but are not limited to : To serve food to students and staff, according to instructions;To clean any area of kitchen according to sanitary regulations;To store all food properly;To follow all safety instructions when using equipment;Other duties, as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS : To be considered qualified for the position of Cafeteria General Worker, candidates must have / be : High school graduate or GED preferred;Ability to read basic operating and use instructions;Ability to give and receive instructions and information;Basic knowledge of food service and sanitation practices;Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Food Service Director or Superintendent may find appropriate.
