The purpose of this position is to serve as a lead in Olympic sports operations and assist in post-season event management. The position is responsible for coordination and reconciliation of team travel, on-campus recruiting visits, off-campus recruiting, scheduling of events, and game-day activities of Women's Volleyball. This position will also take the lead in varying on-campus operations for Men's Golf, Women's Golf, and Women's Tennis. In addition to sports operations, the position will assume increasing responsibility to assist in the development and promotion of post-season campus-hosted events. The Director of Operations will report directly to the Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) but will also work closely with head and assistant coaches.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department’s Mission Statement, Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Big 12 Conference, and the NCAA.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be : Sports Operations Director - Volleyball :
- Serve as the direct contact or secondary liaison for Athletic Administration, Academic Services, Performance Nutrition, Equipment Staff, Training Room, Strength and Conditioning, Team Compliance, Ticket Office, Business Office, Housing, Events, and other areas related to the Volleyball Programs.
- Be responsible for team itineraries, transportation, lodging, meals, practice schedules, contracts, and related requirements for department travel. Travel with the team for regular and post-season travel.
- Coordinate recruiting travel and processing of recruiting data in compliance / recruiting database. Plan, arrange, and assist with recruiting visits on campus.
- Develop, plan, and coordinate programs for student-athlete development and service activities. This will include various team functions, team-building programs, campus events, and community outreach.
