ABOUT THE ROLE

As Manager, Community Outreach, you will be responsible for leading a team of Outreach Leaders across Hopscotch’s footprint in Western North Carolina. This includes day-to-day management and support of current Outreach Leaders, along with hiring, onboarding, and training of future team members. The Manager, Community Outreach, will be expected to drive continuous improvement of Hopscotch Primary Care’s Community Outreach strategy to ultimately meet/exceed new-patient growth targets. This role is based in Western North Carolina and will require regular travel within this region. This position will report to the Senior Director, Organic Growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Specific responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Recruit, hire, and train new members of the Outreach team in Western NC
- Effectively manage day-to-day operations and performance of Outreach team to drive continuous improvement
- Implement new strategies to ensure that Outreach team performance is meeting expectations and growth goals are met
- Utilize Outreach team technology stack to drive strategic decision making and reporting methods
- Communicate with clinical leadership regularly to ensure alignment on growth goals and community happenings
- Assist in growth efforts of clinics without Outreach support
- Take corrective action in addressing underperforming team members when necessary
- Communicate regularly with Senior Director, Organic Growth to ensure alignment on key priorities and OKR’s
- Lead weekly team meetings and 1:1’s to ensure adequate support, coaching, and feedback is provided to Outreach team
- Regularly shadow existing and new team Outreach team members for real-time coaching and feedback
- Attend community events when necessary to provide support to Outreach Team members
- Assist in planning and execution of leading Grand Opening and Open House events at clinic locations with relevant members of the outreach team to ensure favorable ROI

- Established relationships with healthcare ecosystem in Western North Carolina is preferred
- Healthcare sales/growth related experience, preferably in Value Based Care
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high level of communication amongst direct reports, broader growth team, and internal/external stakeholders
- Builds trust quickly and can handle difficult conversations
- Demonstrates good judgement at all times, both professionally and ethically
- Is comfortable with and enjoys discussions with a primarily senior-aged community
- Is comfortable using email, Microsoft Office applications, and computer reporting tools; CRM experience preferred
- Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Has U.S. work authorization (required)

- Degree from a 2- or 4- year institution
- Sales or account management experience
- Healthcare industry knowledge
