Corporate Compliance Specialist

Our shared services legal team is seeking an experienced Corporate Compliance specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a professional of high ethical standards who will help the company stay on a lawful and ethical course. This position works closely with Legal and HR departments, as well as the Corporate Compliance Officer, to :
Key Responsibilities
- Keep abreast of external and internal regulatory developments, and best practices in compliance control, and provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
- Develop and / or improve compliance control systems, policies, and procedures within legal and ethical guidelines.
- Review and revise the foregoing periodically to ensure in line with updated compliance requirements and to identify hidden risks or non-compliance.
- Liaise with departmental heads to ensure that all operations are in line with policies and outside regulations.
- Advise business leadership on relevant regulatory changes and impact current operations or future business.
- Active involvement in Compliance Committee.
- Communicate policy / procedure updates.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments.
- Design / organize compliance training
Desired Qualifications
Annual Salary Range : $65K - $80K
