Our shared services legal team is seeking an experienced Corporate Compliance specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a professional of high ethical standards who will help the company stay on a lawful and ethical course. This position works closely with Legal and HR departments, as well as the Corporate Compliance Officer, to:

Key Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of external and internal regulatory developments, and best practices in compliance control, and provide guidance on compliance matters.

• Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards.

• Develop and/or improve compliance control systems, policies, and procedures within legal and ethical guidelines.

• Review and revise the foregoing periodically to ensure in line with updated compliance requirements and to identify hidden risks or non-compliance.

• Liaise with departmental heads to ensure that all operations are in line with policies and outside regulations.

• Advise business leadership on relevant regulatory changes and impact current operations or future business.

• Active involvement in Compliance Committee.

• Communicate policy/procedure updates.

• Conduct regular audits and assessments.

• Design/organize compliance training

Desired Qualifications

• Prior experience in the areas of manufacturing and business regulatory compliance, risk management and best practices, particularly in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.

• Ability to quickly grasp industry and existing business processes.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and conflict management skills.

• Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, legal studies, business administration, project management or a similar field of study or equivalent experience. Additional certifications in the field of compliance are a plus.

Annual Salary Range: $65K - $80K
