Our North American Automotive Test Systems group is searching for experienced Product Engineer to work out of our Ann Arbor office. This candidate will be responsible for the overall design and support of various Horiba Instruments, Inc. manufactured products, generating drawings, bill of materials along with supporting sales & service departments in respect to engineering issues. This position will be responsible for the overall system design of emissions equipment and will interface with sales, service, and manufacturing departments.
Desired Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of equipment design processes, drawing reviews, Bills of Materials, specifications, etc.
- Experience working with equipment; hands on or understanding specifications.
- Excellent organization and communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
- Will be responsible for all aspects of product support, technical sales, service and Engineering. Strong troubleshooting skills desired.
- Knowledge of SAP and CAD a plus. Some skills preferred with making engineering drawings and changes.
- Must have strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
