This position supports resource planning activities including creating safe, cost-effective, activity-based staffing plan/shift bids for Customer Service/airports at Horizon Air. As a member of the Customer Service team, this individual contributor role ensures compliance with company standards and work rules on a system-wide basis and provides operational support for staff and gate planning.

Role Summary
This position supports resource planning activities including creating safe, cost-effective, activity-based staffing plan/shift bids for Customer Service/airports at Horizon Air. As a member of the Customer Service team, this individual contributor role ensures compliance with company standards and work rules on a system-wide basis and provides operational support for staff and gate planning.
Key Duties
- Focus on utilizing flight schedules, staff forecasting, and gate planning guidelines and tools to design cost-effective, efficient, and activity-based staffing plans/shift bids for Agent (PSA/GSA) for SEA station.
- Follow established procedures, and conduct research to make informed recommendations to ensure staff plans and agent bids follow company standards and are compliant in an ever-changing environment.
- Support annual budget process by preparing and analyzing staffing projections and efficiency options for Agents (PSA/GSA).
- Monitor draft flight schedules (from schedule planning) to ensure efficient Agent (PSA/GSA) staffing levels and project hiring needs.
- Provide input on staffing levels for the SEA Horizon station. Provide staffing recommendations to Station Managers and learn station specific staffing requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses, and complete projects as needed and assigned.
- Support the station operation by performing other duties as assigned.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
- 2 years of experience in Airlines operational experience, or related area.
- Exceptional knowledge of customer service policies and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Superior problem solving, planning, and analytical skills with the ability to develop efficient solutions. Self-starter who takes initiative in developing and finding solutions to difficult and unique problems/opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (e.g., verbal, written, presentation) skills, with the ability to create collaborative relationships and tactfully communicate with others.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage and execute multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a variety of schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Highly enthusiastic, team oriented and self-motivated.
- Willing to travel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Authorized to work within the US.
- Currently qualified as a QX CSA, PSA or GSA.
- Experience building work schedules with a bias for efficiency and productivity.
