What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver position at Horizon America Staffing Services?
Location: Williamsport, Indiana
Saturday-Thursday Midnight-8:00 a.m.
Operate stand-up forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, load and unload materials.
- Transport goods safely within the warehouse or production area.
- Perform inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper operation
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to avoid accidents or injuries
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and storage locations
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to fulfill orders and achieve production goals.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain.
- Previous experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or production environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
