Location : Lynchburg VA, 24501
Compensation depending on experience
Position Summary
The Medical Insurance Verification Specialist will be responsible for validating insurance eligibility and coverage and coordination of benefits. The ideal candidate will ensure a positive experience for patients, providers, and fellow teammates and will also contribute to faster and more efficient reimbursement. The Medical Insurance Verification Specialist will perform monthly, weekly, and daily insurance verifications on all clients served.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) or two (2) years of related experience in a medical billing office that includes prior experience working with Medicaid, other government payors, and private insurance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
