Horizon Develop Build Manage is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our residents. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, diagnose and repair issues, conduct regular inspections, and collaborate with contractors and team members.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implement and follow a preventative maintenance schedule, keep detailed records of maintenance activities, and monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and be available for rotating on-call duties.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or vocational training in building maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
